Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when you can get a refund for payments made to Oniontape (the "Service"). Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@oniontape.com.

14-Day Refund Guarantee on Subscriptions

If you subscribe to a paid plan (Pro), you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription payment. We will refund the amount you paid for that billing period. After the 14-day window, payments for that period are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals (see below).

Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically. The 14-day guarantee applies to your first payment. Renewal charges are not separately refundable, so if you do not wish to renew, cancel before your renewal date — your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

One-Time Credit Top-Ups

Credit top-ups (one-time credit packs) are non-refundable. Because purchased credits are added to your balance immediately and can be used right away, we are unable to refund top-ups once the purchase is complete.

Used Credits

Credits that have already been used (for example, to build or improve apps with AI) are non-refundable and have no cash value.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the 14-day window, contact us at hello@oniontape.com with the email address associated with your account. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by Paddle. Processing times depend on your payment provider.

Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing, which opens the secure Paddle customer portal. Cancelling stops future renewals; your Pro access remains until the end of the current billing period.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation rights you may have under applicable law. Where local law grants you stronger rights, those rights apply.
