Focus in 25-minute blocks

The Pomodoro Technique is simple: work for 25 minutes, take a short break, repeat. The hard part is remembering what you actually got done. This timer runs the clock and logs every finished session, so at the end of the day you can see the focused work you put in — not just a vague sense that you were busy.

Features

  • One-tap presets: 25-minute focus, 5-minute short break, 15-minute long break
  • A large countdown with a progress bar so you can read it from across the room
  • Name the task you're focusing on before you start
  • Every completed session is logged automatically with its task and length
  • Running totals: number of sessions and total minutes focused
  • Start, pause, and reset — the timer keeps going while you work in the page

How the technique works

  1. Pick one task and start a 25-minute focus block. No switching until it ends.
  2. When the timer finishes, the session is logged — take the 5-minute break.
  3. After four focus blocks, take a longer 15-minute break.
  4. At day's end, scan the log to see where your focused hours actually went.
